How old were you when you started football? I was 17 going on 18 when I started playing American Footbal
Where did that happen? Kaiserslautern Pikes Germany
What possession you first played? I started off playing as an Wide Receiver
How many teams and countries have you played so far? Germany: GFL2 South Kaiserslautern Pikes GFL South Saarland Hurricanes GFL North New Yorker Lions GFL North Cologne Falcons Denmark: NL Horsens Stallions & now Finland : Seinäjoki Crocodiles
Do you follow any other leagues? Personally I follow the NFL , since its my goal to play there one next year. My family is from North Carolina so you would assume I am a Carolina Panthers Fan.
Do you have any football idols? Randy Moss, Adrian Peterson, Tyrann Mathieu
How did you end up to play for the Crocodiles? Our HC Henri has faithfully been trying to reach out to me the last two years, and since I like traveling, Finland sounded like an nice experience so I decided to play for the Crocodiles.
Has anything really surprised you in Finland? The only thing that has surprised me is the daylight you have in the summer. It’s kind of awesome you can stay outside forever but then again you can’t really sleep if you don’t have ALL BLACKED out CURTAINS lol
How about Maple League, is it what you expected? The Maple League is pretty competitive & I like the fact that SAJL is trying to spread the love of the game via television broadcasting and all sorts of social media. The maple league is definitely going places in the future, that’s for sure...
You seen all teams so far, is a playoff picture allready clear for you? Sorry, Playoffs? Our goal is to bring the championship to Seinajoki, Nothing less.... So to me that Playoff picture is clear.
Where do the Crocs need to improve most to win the Maple Bowl? We have to stay healthy, and just play our game and make plays when it comes down to it. I truly believe in our offense, defense & the whole Crocodiles organisation as ONE, especially now with our new Add-Ons to the team
Do you like more to play in offense or in defense? I love being on the field and playing side by side with my brothers, no matter which position or side of the ball.
Did you go to see any festivals in Seinäjoki (Provinssi or tango)? I haven't been to one but I’ve seen the scenery and action around provinssi & tango. It was absolutely nice to see all the different type of people getting together & celebrating during these events
This week you meet Wasa Royals, what are your expectations of the game? I expect us to play up to our full potential and if we do so , I’m confident we will pull in the Dubb ‘Win’ at the end. Maybe a close one but we will get the job done.
Royals just signed a new import R.J. Long (Maple League MVP last year) there, do have any special tricks for him? I’ve heard bits and pieces about RJ Long. Watching film I can definitely tell he is a good football player , in this league great, but like I said before, I believe in our defense and know we will do everything to limit his actions in the game. He will get some, but not a lot.....No special tricks , just Crocodiles Football 😉
Who are the players to watch on Royals team? If you ask me, key player #4 Young #8 Fisher #80 Long. Unfortunately I’m not familiar with too many other positions and names of Wasa , but definitely know there would be more names to mention. It’s a team sport, every player is to watch. And a s/o to other key players who have been injured during the course of the season...#11 #33 #9 GET WELL SOON GUYS & God bless!
Did you know it always rains in Vaasa? That’s new to me, because so far I’ve been there 4 times and the sun was always out :-)
